Card linking in the Smart Traveller app is currently supported only for selected financial institutions and eligible card types. If your card is not accepted, it may not be part of the current list of participating banks or supported card categories.
Why Your Card Might Not Be Eligible
- It may be issued by a non-participating bank.
- It may not fall under the supported card types (e.g., only specific Visa, Mastercard, or UnionPay cards may qualify).
- It may be a supplementary card or not registered under your name.
We are continuously expanding the list of supported institutions and card types, so check back regularly for updates.
How to Check the Latest List of Supported Cards
For New Users:
1. Launch the Smart Traveller app
2. Tap “Link My Card”
3. Tap “Find Out More” at the top of the blue bar
4. Select “Participating Financial Institutions” to view the latest list
For Existing Users:
1. Open the Smart Traveller app
2. Navigate to “Link My Card & Visit History”
3. Tap the “Edit” button
4. Select “Participating Financial Institutions” to view supported banks and card types
