Plaza Premium Lounges are available at airports worldwide, and it's important to ensure your selected lounge matches your flight terminal and departure zone. Here's how to confirm you're booking the right location:
1. Confirm lounge availability at your airport
- Visit our Lounge Locations page to check if your airport and terminal have a Plaza Premium Lounge.
2. Identify the lounge zone
- Airside lounges: Located after immigration and security. Accessible to departing and transit passengers with a valid boarding pass.
- Landside lounges: Located before immigration. Suitable for arriving passengers or those waiting before check-in or after early hotel check-out.
3. Match your lounge to your flight terminal and zone
-
Book a lounge in the same terminal and zone (Domestic, International, Transborder, or Schengen/Non-Schengen) as your departing flight.
Important: Schengen vs. Non-Schengen:
- Schengen lounges: For flights within the Schengen Area (Most EU countries)
- Non-Schengen / Extra-Schengen lounges: For flights outside the Schengen Area (e.g., UK, USA, Asia)
-
Always confirm your departure terminal, zone and Schengen Status with your airline before booking
Important: U.S. Transborder Passengers
- U.S. Domestic passengers cannot access lounges in International Departure areas, and vice versa.
- At North American airports, passengers departing from U.S. Transborder or U.S. Departures areas cannot access lounges in Domestic or International zones.
- U.S. Transborder passengers must ensure they book a lounge located in the U.S. Departures zone of their terminal
- Always confirm your departure terminal and zone with your airline before booking.
4. If you are transiting between terminals
- Departure/Transit lounges are in restricted areas and require valid boarding passes and travel documents.
- Arrival lounges are in non-restricted areas and may require valid travel documents depending on the country.
Each Plaza Premium Lounge (excluding affiliated lounges) provides a fact sheet that clearly indicates whether the lounge is located in the airside or landside area, including lounges in U.S. departure zones. A terminal map is also included to help you identify the exact location and access point.
We strongly recommend reviewing the lounge’s fact sheet before booking to ensure it aligns with your flight terminal and departure zone.
